Michelle A. Putman earned her law degree from Southern Methodist University where she graduated with her J.D., cum laude. She served as Associate Managing Editor of the International Law Review and was a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. While earning her law degree, Ms. Putman served as a summer intern for The Honorable Jennifer W. Elrod of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and interned for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where she tried her first case. Ms. Putman also participated in S.M.U.’s Criminal Defense Clinic, where she represented clients in criminal misdemeanor proceedings.
Ms. Putman completed her undergraduate work at The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her B.B.A. in Management. While there, Ms. Putman was an Endowed Presidential Scholar, a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and served as Editor-in-Chief of the University’s official yearbook, Cactus.
Michelle was admitted to practice law in the State of Texas in 2010, and is a member of the State Bar of Texas. She is currently a member of the Dallas Bar Association and Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
