JEREMIAH B. HAYES 

Jeremiah B. HayesJeremiah Hayes is the oldest of four children born and raised in Dallas, Texas.  He currently practices in the firm’s Financial Institutions Litigation Practice, focusing on serving commercial and consumer finance clients. 

His family settled west of McKinney, Texas nearly 125 years ago and also has deep roots in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas.  Coming from a long line of teachers, Mr. Hayes decided to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Management Information Systems from

 

the University of Texas at Austin.  While studying at UT, he was an entertainment writer for the Daily Texan who covered local concerts and album releases.  As a co-chair of the Concerts & Music Committee, he also organized and produced concerts for the student body.

 

Mr. Hayes decided to pursue his interest in law and attended the University of Denver College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2002.  He continued his interest in the music business by writing for The Clarion newspaper and Urb Magazine.  While in Denver, he founded the University’s radio station, KVRX, continued to produce concerts, and hosted a weekly radio show.  In addition to serving as President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, Mr. Hayes was also a student member of the Doyle Inn of Court.

 

 Returning to his home state of Texas, Mr. Hayes joined The Corea Firm, PLLC in 2006, where he litigates cases throughout the United States on a variety of contested matters, including security interests, bankruptcy adversary actions, foreclosures and various fraud and misrepresentation claims through dealership transactions. 

 Mr. Hayes is licensed to practice law in the states of Texas and Colorado, as well as all U.S. District Courts in both states.
